Firstly we want to define the ideal customer.
If you’re into marketing you’ll know this as the Customer Avatar.
If you’ve been selling for long enough, you’ll have a pretty good idea of who your target audience is and what they’re like.
Write down who they are in specific detail. How old they are, their gender, education level, what they do for a living, how many kids do they typically have?
Then move on to why these characteristics in particular, lead them to having a problem that your product or service solves.
If they typically work long hours, you can bring this up in your copy and discuss how you can save them time.
If they have a lot of kids, talk about this and lead on to how your product allows them to have more time quality time with their kids.
Once we know who they are and what problems they face, we can look into the problem itself.
